I was truly enchanted by the elegant Victorian style of the hotel. The beautiful decor and indigenous elements created a unique and exquisite atmosphere throughout the hotel's general areas. As a senior woman, I found the accessibility of the hotel to be excellent. The staff was always ready to assist me, and the layout of the hotel allowed me to easily navigate around the premises. It was wonderful to have everything conveniently located, from the lounge to the pool and the stunning views of the Zambezi River.
My only small suggestion would be for the children working there to provide more information about activities and attractions in the surrounding area that are suitable for senior guests.

The Royal Livingstone Hotel offers a range of exciting activities, including river cruises, river safaris, land safaris, micro-light flights. Perfect for families with 2 small kids, the property has a herd of zebra, giraffe, and impala, as well as baboons. You may also spot hippos in the river and occasionally see elephants crossing to a nearby island. The location is ideal for exploring local attractions and the Victoria Falls, with easy access to Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Namibia. The rooms are comfortable and have a charming colonial feel. The staff are friendly and accommodating.
Felt very secure, no complaints whatsoever.

The magnificent scenery, warm waters, and thrilling rapids made our white water rafting adventure one of the greatest experiences we've ever had. The river safari allowed us to witness incredible wildlife and listen to the call of migratory birds, creating a unique and immersive experience for the whole family. The certified babysitting service provided us with the freedom to relax and fully enjoy our stay in this paradise. Rafting through the rapids covering 24 km with a drop of 400 feet was an exhilarating activity for everyone, truly a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.
For dads, it would be great if the hotel could offer more family-friendly activities geared specifically towards children.

As a frequent traveler, I stayed at Royal Livingstone Hotel for 5 days and loved every moment. The breakfast was the best I've ever had, and the hotel's old colonial charm made it the perfect place to relax. The property's zebra, giraffe, and impalas, along with the wandering baboons, added to the unique experience. Sightings of hippos and even an elephant crossing to a local island were unforgettable. The location was ideal for enjoying river and land safaris, as well as attractions like the Victoria Falls and bungee jumping. The accommodation was top-notch, with amenities like a tea, coffee, and espresso machine, and the wifi throughout the property was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, making my stay a memorable one.
Would definitely recommend this hotel.

Spent Easter at a beautiful hotel that offered a scenic view of the Zambezi River and amazing wildlife. The hotel had a great location with easy access to nearby attractions and friendly staff who were always ready to assist. The rooms were comfortable and clean with two complimentary bottles of water and a well-stocked minibar. One of the highlights was the complimentary afternoon tea on the terrace overlooking the river.
There were limited dining options at the hotel and the food was a bit pricey. The WiFi signal was weak and only available in certain areas.

On my recent trip, I stayed in a hotel that was located right on the bank of the Zambezi River. The hotel's position was perfect for my needs because I was within walking distance of the Falls, which were breathtaking. The beautiful grounds were meticulously cleaned and well kept. Every morning, I started my day off with a delicious breakfast, and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful.
For us, it was ideal.
